The magic rock has very little use here they are:

1. Used for quest.

2. If you are a Bishop then you can use the magic door skill that takes you to town but it costs MP and 1 magic rock.

Besides those I think thats all it is used for! XD

The magic rocks are actually rare drops from monsters. Sometimes other players might sell them but besides that, no NPC(Non-Playable Characters) sell them.

You can purchase Magic Rocks directly from Alcaster (an NPC in the El
Nath market) for 5,000 mesos each after you complete his long series of
quests. You have to complete the "In Search of the Book of Ancient"
and "Alcaster and the Dark Crystal" quests.
